”I made the first pieces of jewellery at the age of three or four. That must have been one of those colourful plastic bean necklaces, which my mother very often got as a present. Then became lizard pendants. One of them is still today hanging on my grand mother’s wall. Then I found freshwater pearls and silk.
But life happened and suddenly there was no more time for creativity — until I became a mother. Sofi was born in fall 2017. The time at home with my little baby made me understand how privileged I was. Having all the support, safety and not to mention the maternity leave. It opened my eyes.
We have won the birth lottery, but not everyone has. I wanted to do something and spread the good. And finally I had time to remember what I once loved to do. AIDA was born."
